What we do

Imajinnation handles all elements from above- through to below-the-line Brand Marketing Communications. In fact, we no longer believe the line has a place in modern advertising strategy as we prefer to focus on disruptive shock-360 campaigns that connect with all touchpoints and are bound to get the consumer’s attention (see our article about “no more above and below the line”).

Television

Television has really evolved over the years and still a very important channel when needing to achieve certain objectives. TV has also evolved into Online channels as well as Subscription TV which has added complexity to the medium. We handle the full scope from sourcing, demographic breakdown, negotiating, planning and scheduling, to production of all the materials, to booking and management, as well as tracking results.

Radio

Radio has become a very cost-effective medium for reaching targeted, even regional, listeners. Once again we handle the full scope from sourcing, demographic breakdown, negotiating, planning and scheduling, to production of the radio segments, voice-overs and even live-read scripts and competitions, to booking and management, as well as tracking results.

Print

Print has definitely dropped in priority over the years, but still a very targeted approach, especially with focused, specialised readers on distinctive subject matters. We handle all the sourcing and negotiation aspects, to design and advertorial writing, to management and tracking results.

Outdoor

Outdoor streetpole, trailer and billboards provide an opportunity to reach many motorists in a targeted area, with a very brief visual message, but unique executions as well as outdoor LED have added an extra element to outdoor advertising. We handle the full spectrum from sourcing, scheduling, negotiating and planning, to design or production, to booking, management and reach results.

Out-of-Home (OOH)

Out-of-Home covers a broad spectrum of mediums, from mall advertising, gyms, restaurant media, construction, airport media, educational institutes, and even bathroom media, to name a few, which further allows us to reach specific audiences, with targeted messaging, to suit a particular concept. We handle the sourcing, demographic and reach breakdown, negotiating, scheduling and planning, to design and production, to booking, management and reporting on results.

Digital

Digital has grown substantially over the years to become the premiere channel for marketing. Digital is diverse and complex and offers plenty of opportunities to engage with modern audiences. For Digital we cover the entire portfolio from digital strategy, social media strategy and management, digital advertising, website design and development, domain management and hosting, SEO, SEM, lead generation, Influencer marketing, CRM and email marketing, just to list a few aspects, as well as all the design and production aspects required.

Niche Media

Finding unique sites or execution opportunities is at the core of what we do and is where we really creatively flourish. Wherever we can, we will try and use niche, unique media opportunities to stay out of the clutter and deliver our message loud and proud.

Public relations

PR is central to brand reputational management, and we are ideally suited to manage that with an extremely experienced team in tactical PR strategies, media relations, public affairs, crisis management, media launches, press releases, product placement, securing media, copywriting, editorial, advertorials, media monitoring and reporting.

Internal Marketing Communication

Communicating to the internal team is just as integral as going to the outside world with that team, sharing one voice and speaking the same message. For internal campaigns we do everything from concepts to executions, design and printing, desk drops, gifting and incentive management, internal events, staffing or entertainment, team building functions, you name it.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Every company needs a CSR portfolio, giving back to the communities around them and showing how it has impacted the lives of others. In this day and age and within an environment where there is such social and economic inequality, its imperative that we are part of the solution and not the problem. We are able to assist with this portfolio by sourcing appropriate initiatives and managing every aspect of the project.

Events, Activations, Exhibitions, and Sponsorship Activities

Imajinnation strategises, conceptualises and manages the entire marketing process, and this includes in-the-field activities such as Events, Activations, Exhibitions and Sponsorships. By taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture, connecting all the dots together, into a neat and tidy, yet beautiful pattern, with a myriad and abundance of actual on-the-ground past experience behind us, Imajinnation is able to use new thinking to formulate strategy, which leads to disruptive creative concepts that are beyond the norm, employing innovative techniques wherever possible, but still primarily focused on impact and returns, with results in mind.

Simply put: We do integrated marketing. But what does that actually mean? Integrated Marketing is an approach to creating a unified and seamless experience for consumers to interact with the brand/enterprise; it attempts to meld all aspects of marketing communication such as advertising, sales promotion, public relations, direct marketing, and social media, through their respective mix of tactics, methods, channels, media, and activities, so that all work together as a unified force, achieving more than the sum of its parts, i.e. 1+1=3. It is a process designed to ensure that all messaging and communications strategies are consistent across all channels and are centered on the customer.

Being a boutique agency also means that our personal investment into projects is substantial, considering we prefer fewer clients with more focus on those requirements, means our dedication to a client and a project is unquestionable, always ensuring projects are delivered under limited timelines, within limited budgets. For our small to medium clients we offer a retainer-based service of all marketing activities combined to ensure the ‘golden thread’ is carried throughout, and that they meet the overall strategic requirements and objectives, or retainers on specific requirements, or even on a case-by-case or project-by-project basis, such as with Digital, Production or PR. Whereas our larger customer’s are more likely to engage us on a specific campaign (with the full 360 approach), or even a specific requirement, such as with a singular element, like Design, Production, Digital, etc (where integration of multiple providers becomes the key to its success).
